STOR TISSEFANT
I don't understand why the program have to show the ip adresses to everybody?Wouldn't it be enough to just show the flag from where you are downloading? Or hide the first/last 5 digits281.288.100.15 ----> XXX.XX8.100.15 or 281.288.XXX.XX.and for the translated ip's214.14518.24422.customer.isp.net ----> XXXXXXXXXXXXX.customer.isp.netDon't know if it would be safer, but I know I would feel safer... Ultima
Feeling safer doesn't mean you're safer. Just because µTorrent doesn't show IP addresses doesn't mean they aren't there -- it's simple enough for anybody to figure out what IPs they're connected to, whether or not µTorrent shows it. Switeck
TCP View running in the background would still show connections being made. The monitoring companies would continue using whatever showed+recorded ips of peers and seeds...so it wouldn't matter if you put blinders on or not!
