rythmshifter Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 I get this error message [2009-03-15 13:15:26] UPnP: Device error "http://192.168.1.1:2869/IGatewayWFADeviceDescDoc": (-2) It is important to note that my internet has been VERY odd lately, the upload rate will "idle" at about 8k per second (I have a 2MB/per second download average and I can usually hit about 250k upload), which will stop if I turn off a few torrents, but then it will randomly (sometimes every other second, sometimes once a minute) hit zero and then come all the way back again, the download AND upload. I can email a screenshot example of this if anyone needs to see it. Very odd. I am also getting high ping times when I play online games as well as random lag spikes. Does anyone have any ideas?
moogly Posted March 15, 2009 Report Posted March 15, 2009 This error is relative to UPnP used to forward a port in your router. You can disable it in uT (Preferences > Connection), of course you need to forward manually a port in the router (2 rules TCP/UDP).In addition you need to set uT (bandwidth):http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992Recommended uTorrent settings: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=34259
