HoochieMamma
You don't need to put anything, make it trackerless I hate trackers (mostly public ones).
habibalby
Thanks mate, it's really useful. However, since I have already no-ip.info URL I can use that as well?Thanx, Habibalby
Ultima
Yeah you can, make sure you include your port and "/announce" in the tracker URL.http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#Does_.C2.B5Torrent_have_an_embedded_tracker.3F
splintax
You don't need to put anything, make it trackerless Well, you could do that, I suppose. Does trackerless include your IP:port as a bootstrap? Because if not, it would be a total bitch to get the torrent started.
Firon
The torrent creator does not include you as a node yet, I believe.
splintax
So basically the person you send the .torrent to has to wait until they reach you on DHT? Wouldn't that take a really long time in most cases? If this is the case I'd imagine it makes the trackerless torrent option effectively useless. Firon
Really long? Eh, I wouldnt say that long.. you'd probably propagate in nothing more than 10 minutes or so, so the key is start the torrent before you give it to someone ;p
