dunjamon
Hi, I've recently upgraded to ESET Smart Security 4, and have found that uTorrent no longer detects any open ports. The network icon in uTorrent is always green, but when I press "Test if port is forwarded properly" it shows that the port is blocked. If I disable the ESET firewall it connects fine. Is this a problem, as my network icon is always green and my downloads seem unaffected? I have already updated uTorrent to 1.8.2, but this made no difference.Thanks.Edit...is seems like it is slowing my downloads...I've disabled the firewall, and my download speed has shot up. moogly
Remove previous exceptions about uT in your new firewall and add new ones.
dunjamon
I've cleared all rules and fully re-installed both uTorrent and ESET, but its still the same. As soon as I enable the firewall my speeds drop straight down. What rules should I be using? I've just allowed all traffic through uTorrent, but this doesn't seem to do anything.
