thegeezer3
on sites like pizzatorrents scrapetorrent.com etc they list search results from many tracker sites and include seed and peer stats. How do they get this information? Some of the tracker sites have rss feeds of the latest torrents available but they often dont include the seed peer stats and even if they did this would change and the feed stats would soon become outdated.Ive seen some of these metasearch stating that the results shown were updated 2 hours ago. Are they scraping this info? Some also mention announce files from various trackers e.g. http://tracker.thepiratebay.org/announceive tried loading this in my browser but doesnt to anything. What are they\?Can anyone help?
Firon
Generally, the scrape URL is /scrapeAnd usually a global scrape is not allowed, so you have to specify particular infohashes like you would for an announce. The infohash must be URL-encoded.http://www.bittorrent.org/beps/bep_0003.htmlSee the tracker part.
