ihatetoregister
Hello, short description:File->Add torrent from URL uses HTTP GET to fetch torrent file.Server responses: "HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized"Utorrent 1.8.2 pop ups error window with content:"Error 'HTTP Error 401' while downloading URL."details/background:there are some private trackers. They generates torrent files on the fly. Web page has link to page/scriptfrom which You can download torrent file. This can be done in this order:1. click on file2. point "Save As" browsers dialog to desired place and save file3. open/activate utorrent4. navigate: File->Add torrent5. browse to recently saved torrent file, and click open. But there is "helper" to minimize these unneeded steps:1. Copy link location from web2. File->Add torrent from url, paste, OKPossible workaround:build proxy server, which injects authentication information in utorrent GET request.pros: * its workscons: * it isn't suitable for average user * it isn't portable between sites * it isn't portable between different users/logins on same site======================If You need more information please ask.Thanks. DreadWingKnight
More viable workaround:Have uTorrent associated with .torrents in your browser, click the link, choose "open with uTorrent"Skip all kinds of messes.

Firon
Include the cookie info, like the RSS tutorial tells you to do.Might even work with add by URL.
