zkoch
I have to reformat my harddrive from fat32 to nfts and that means when i reformat the hard drive everything i have on it will be erased including my torrents. If I transfer everything to another hard drive is there anyway to transfer everything back and keep seeding everything I already have and how would I do that? moogly
You can convert your HD from FAT32 to NTFS without losing your data. Check Google, there are a ton of guides to do that.Back-up: folder %appdata%\utorrent and folders you set in Preferences > Directories (data, .torrents etc). Firon
You don't need to format to convert to NTFS.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314097

zkoch
haha now when i try and do the conversion it says "This drive is dirty and cannot be converted. You will need to clear the dirty bit on this drive by running CHKDSK /F or allowing AUTOCHK to run on it the next time you reboot. Conversion Failed." Im really sorry im being such a damn nuisance but i have over 500 gigs on this hard drive and each step makes me very nervous. what do i do now to make this work??
