danost
My ISP has discovered the magic of throttling downloading when using torrents. My downloading speed is now near zero. Does uTorrent have a way around this ? Thank You.
Switeck
Yes and no...it depends on HOW your ISP is throttling. If your ISP is really hostile to the point of blocking/throttling unknown encrypted traffic, there's not much you can do besides getting a REAL ISP. If it's using some means of identifying BitTorrent traffic, it may be fooled by uTorrent's protocol encryption...some of the time. But you may have to FORCE encryption outgoing, disable incoming encryption...and potentially suffer big speed losses from no longer even connecting to unencrypted peers and seeds.
