Thristle
well there is 1.8.3 (build 14809) and 1.9 (build 14908)now when 1.9 beta was brand new and shiny the big thing about it was the default use of UDP instead of TCP (aka uTP)now in the 1.8.3 beta forum post you can see that it also use uTPand that uTP is usable from ver 1.8.2--- 2009-01-24: Version 1.8.2 (build 14153)- Change: add bt.transp_disposition value (3) for uTP-only so the only change is that 1.9 has uTP enabled by default? Firon
uTP has been in uTorrent since 1.8. But it's not perfectly refined in 1.8.3 yet, though it will handle incoming uTP better than 1.8.2. 1.8.3 and 1.9 are similar at the moment, but will diverge very quickly, since 1.8.3 will go stable soon.1.9 will have a much more developed uTP that's suitable for general use, as well as other features (including STUN).
