Denk Posted January 28, 2006 Report Posted January 28, 2006 This is for those of you who are more prone to going with "offical" upgrades (thanks to those who work at giving us options though).Just installed 1.00.6 on my WRT54G V.5 last night and it's working like a charm as it's designed to work with bittorrent.I'm running µTorrent 1.4 and am easily keeping download speeds above 150 kB/s.Right now I'm connected to 25 of 27 seeds on a torrent (no way I could do that with a Linksys released upgrade before) and I've seen a peak of 233 kB/s on my download speed (it was above 200 for about 5-10 min). I look set to do a 4.3 GB download in about 7-8 hours.I hope this helps some folks.

Firon Posted January 29, 2006 Report Posted January 29, 2006 Wow, Linksys finally fixed it (for one router...). It only took them what, 2 years? :/

1c3d0g Posted January 29, 2006 Report Posted January 29, 2006 Just found out my modem also uses VxWorks. :/ It hasn't given me any issues though (so far)...*knocks on wood*
