Kazuaki Shimazaki
Right. Start by seeing how many Peers and Seeds you have, and whether most of them are using BitComet.
Switeck
How many torrents are you running at once? How many upload slots are you allowing per torrent? How many total connections and connections per torrent are you allowing?Did you set upload speed max to 50 KB/sec...or is that just what µTorrent seems to be maxing out at?(With no upload speed limit, µTorrent often badly overloads pushing download speeds almost to nil.) RoDeO
I have this same problem Im uploading at 150k a sec and downloading at 20k.im all about shareing but this is kinda going overboard....i have downloaded 1.5gigs of a file and uploaded 3.5gigs of that file i don't think this is really fair..How many torrents are you running at once? 1How many upload slots are you allowing per torrent? 10How many total connections and connections per torrent are you allowing?max connections = 600max number of connected peers per torrent = 100 Ratio 1.182 Any idea's would be awesome thank's! Switeck
I have this same problem Im uploading at 150k a sec and downloading at 20k.Lower your upload max speed in µTorrent to only 120 KB/sec.Try going hog-wild and raising number of connections per torrent to 300. You won't get that many immediately even with torrents that have that many seeds+peers, but if your hardware can handle it your download speeds should improve.10 upload slots per torrent is ok since you have >100 KB/sec upload speed...that's about 10 KB/sec an upload slot -- the amount you'd send to any one person at a time.Sadly, don't be surprised if you don't get 100+ KB/sec download speed back for your upload efforts. Not everyone (heck MOST everyone) can't upload as fast as you! A more reasonable expectation is about 50-80 KB/sec download speed.
Ultima
What's your (felz, and RoDeO) maximum upload speed advertised by your ISP? Set the limiter to 80% of it. Setting the number of connections too high is bad too. Check this FAQ entry. Make sure you read the paragraph labeled Make sure you've capped your upload to around 80% of your actual upload speed. slayers
When there are very few seeders to an outraging number of peers, this situation is quite normal. It happens, for example, when a torrent has just started (1 seeder and several peers). You'll often see lot's of peers with the same % complete and slowly building up. Those that have faster upload speeds (like yourself) will help more peers than those that haven't.
