Port only open when I turn off firewall?

Hello, first-time user of any kind of torrent software.

My machine:

Windows XP, Professional, Version 2002, Service Pack 3

Windows OneCare Live 2.5.2900.24, Firewall Policy Version 1.2.32.119

Just downloaded uTorrent 1.8.2

Followed links for portforward.com, followed all of their instructions.

uTorrent will only report an open port when I shut off the OneCare firewall. Is there any way to leave the firewall up and still get an open port?

You have to add exceptions (TCP and UDP) about uT into your firewall.

I don't know if someone posted a guide to set OneCare here (you can search on the boards) but there is surely a board on OneCare's website to have more info.
