Firewall Setting in 1.4 (b407)!?

Long time lover and user of this fabulous software......but...........

I really dont think its a good idea to write software that disables ones Firewall??...........and to have the option set as 'default' into the bargain!?

if I remeber it correctly, windows firewall should make an exception for µTorrent if activated.

Indeed, it seems to have added an exception to the list for me. Maybe the wording should be changed for that option...

'Add an exception for µTorrent in Windows Firewall (Windows XP SP2 or later)'.

Agree. What I find misleading about that though is that unchecking it wouldn't make it "unadd" it or uncheck the corresponding option in the Exceptions list either. What I think should be done is... µTorrent should pop up a dialog like the shortcut creation dialogs, since it's a one-time thing.

It uses the API provided by Microsoft to add itself to the exception list, many programs already do this (and there's no need to prompt, that's the entire point of the API). But yes, the wording needs to be changed.

I thought with uTorrent being a small footprint........it was trying to make up for it by taking over ones PC!! LOL
