holyindian
Hi all,I am sure this must be a rather very irresponsible post, but i just got a little bit messed up. I used the tutorial provided here, and now all my downloads have stopped. All the torrents are marked in red, though the firewall is marked in green.Nothing seems to be downloading for me at the moment.. I was able to download files for a couple of mins... after the setting, but it stopped all of a sudden after half an hour. Please have a look at the screenshot of my Utorrent client below.I am sure there must be many users on this forum with the 6Mbps Comcast line, please provide me your configuration, so that i dont get lost in the complexities of torrent settings. Switeck
You may have already made some massive settings changes in uTorrent.Try firstly reseting them to default, THEN doing 1st and 2nd links in my signature. It seems all your torrents have TRACKER issues. Did you check the tracker window for what error messages they're getting? You're connecting to very few peers in your picture...possibly through DHT, which seems to be working according to the DHT number at bottom. And you're also getting the green light, which rules out some/most firewall-related problems with uTorrent. holyindian
Thanks for a fast response mate. The torrents i am downloading are from multiple trackers / sources.Yes i will try to reset the application, and again try to make ur settings work. I will post the results, or if anything i am getting confused with.
Switeck
For what it's worth, I am on ComCast as well with a 6 megabit/sec down and 1 megabit/sec up line.In my guide, the 1 megabit/sec upload settings should be close enough...ComCast doesn't disrupt or throttle BitTorrent as badly as it used to.
