MojoOz
A large file that only downloads at a dribble and has been gradually growing in size over several weeks has suddenly disappeared leaving in its wake the error message: 'can't open torrent file'. No related files or folders have been moved or deleted. All remains as it was. While I was wondering what to do about it, a similar error message appeared next to 3 other downloads. By trial and error I clicked on Start and the checking process began. This eventually brought the 3 files back and they began downloading again. However, neither this, Force Re-Check, nor anything else I can find works with the first one. I even downloaded a similar looking torrent, which when I opened it turned out to be a duplicate. I was asked if I wanted to load the associated trackers, which I did, but still nothing happened. Any help in reconnecting to this download greatly appreciated. DreadWingKnight
were any files deleted from %appdata%\utorrent or your torrent storage directory?
MojoOz
Thanks for the reply...the folder where I initially download all torrents is untouched - all torrents in place. In appdata/roaming/BitTorrent the relevant torrent didn't appear, so I copied there.. Still no joy...
