What DL speed should I get....

Here are the results from my speed tests. My max DL rate in uTorrent is set for 5000K, I only get DLs of about 315 kB/s from Slackware with bursts to about 550 kBps. I am lucky to see 75 kBps total from other Torrent DL's.

Any help getting my DL's past the ETAs of 1 week would be greatly appreciated and YES I did read and use the lines in your signature.

Thanks

Ted

Your numbers are all across-the-board and don't seem right, especially the last:

Test 3

3635 kbps

In any case, max DL rate in uTorrent should NOT be set to 5000 KB/sec -- even your MOST optimistic test suggests less than 2500 KB/sec. I'd say even 2000 KB/sec DL tops...and that's assuming your speed tests weren't almost entirely burst speeds rather than sustained speeds.

On "regular" torrents that are not heavily overseeded, your download speed may often be pretty close to your upload speed.
