geezer
Dumb question....what does K mean in the flags column? Peer exchange? Encryption? The strange thing is I'm seeing it from a mainline peer so I wouldn't think it was either PEX or PHE.Oh, I've also got a peer with a completely blank client column. Stealth client? geezer
I bet I know what flag K is. I bet X has been changed to K so that X can be used for peer exchange. Have I guessed correctly?
Firon
Yes, X was changed to K, and X is now for peers obtained through PEX.
Snapphane
So, if X is PEX, what's the flag for encryption? And now when I'm posting - great job on the new page and client, THANKS

gabo03
The change log for the latest beta says "Change: Don't download first/last piece of a file first. Can be re-enabled." I've been looking in the options for how to turn this back on but I couldn't find it yet. Any help? Thanks.i see that option in the Advanced options, but now is false, this means, utorrent dont download the first/last piece first??
Firon
That's not true boo, I update it with every beta release. http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#What_do_all_those_flags_in_the_Flags_column_mean.3FAnd yes gabo03, it doesn't anymore, unless you turn that option on. torishu
That's not true boo, I update it with every beta release. http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#What_do_all_those_flags_in_the_Flags_column_mean.3FYou forgot the "H" flag! ;-)My guess? DHT.Nice change, if so. Less confusing than two "D" flags in the column.

TheDude
- Feature: Make torrent prioritized from add torrent windowWhat does that "Make Highest Priority" checkbox actually do ?It doesn't change the "Bandwidth Allocation"...
geezer
What does that "Make Highest Priority" checkbox actually do ?Just guessing...maybe it puts the torrent at position 1 in the download queue rather than adding it to the end. The download queue position is indicated in the "#" column.
1c3d0g
gabo03: yeah, false means that it doesn't download first/last piece first. True means that is does.
Ultima
@boo: Does it? I thought Firon edits the FAQs frequently... that's why when I requested additions/changes, it happened without a new stable release... unless my time perception's gone dead xD
Firon
The H flag is there now. http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#What_do_all_those_flags_in_the_Flags_column_mean.3FAnd I fixed up and converted the RSS tutorial to the new site design. http://www.utorrent.com/rsstutorial.php

Martin Levac
Thank you Ludde for your consideration. First/last priority when disabled shortens ramp up time substantially.ML
