xerces8
Hi!I run uTorrent v1.8.2 on my laptop (WinXP-SP3).I have it connected to internet thru an Edimax BR-6204Wg router running firmware v1.61.I noticed that the ports are not forwarded by UPnP.I also noticed that this happens only over WLAN. If I disable the WLAN connection and use a LAN cable, the it works.Any idea ?I prefer not to have a cable to the laptop. :-(Regards,David
jewelisheaven
Is your DHCP server setup such that the WLAN IPs usually fall within the normal DHCP range? Is there a separate configuration for DHCP for the WLAN/LAN port... Usually when UPnP has problems it's related to DHCP functionality :/
DreadWingKnight
Are you running vista? Is your wireless network type different from your wired if so (public vs private)?
xerces8
WLAN is just bridged to LAN, using same DCHP range.DreadWingKnight, I wrote it is WinXP-SP3 ;-)--Problem solved.Or at least, cause found. The PC was sending UPNP packets to wrong NIC.I tried with MiniUPnPc and if I set the NIC to use manually, then it works.Maybe it is confused by the presence of VMWare virtual NICs.Edit 2:After disabling the VMWare interfaces and deleting some old and unused dial-up and broadband connections, it all just works. :-)
