Ultima
What do you mean by "all torrent files?" Have you tried from multiple sites? Maybe the site you're grabbing the torrents from is screwy and sending broken torrents. Try another torrent (like OpenOffice.org v2.0.1).

Ultima
If you have the URL to the torrent, try "Add Torrent from URL..." in µTorrent (to rule out any browser or download manager bugs).

Ultima
Sounds like your ISP is blocking torrents from being downloaded then O.okidgecko seems to be having the same error as you (closed/reset by peer), and it also seems like his ISP is at fault =T

Ultima
Well that's a different story then. Check out the Speed Guide, and make sure you don't get any errors in the statusbar (NAT Error, Listen Error, etc).
Cephus
i try to open a torrent, utorrent opens, and the error message "unable to load (filenam).torrent!"this happens for all torrent files. Are you trying to open torrents straight from a webpage, or are you downloading the torrent to your drive and trying to open it from there? Have you tried checking the torrents through TorrentSpy?
Ultima
Meh he said they're working now. It was probably his network/ISP... Now to try and diagnose/fix his slow speeds =P

Ultima
Probably... and seeing as how you're on their network, there's not much you can do about configuring the router/firewall. I guess you can try out PE (protocol encryption) when it becomes more widespread. It's new and in beta test, so there's going to be fewer people using it -- thus, I'm not sure how much it'll help you, for now at least.
