Very Strange problem

K first off i have little computer knowledge.

I have a mac, and usuallly i use vuze, and it usually works well. but today a torrent got to 87% and stopped, so i deleted the torrent file and tried downloading another and it remained at 0% with red status. so i deleted vuze and downloaded utorrent, and tried downloading a differenent file with many seeds, still nothing. it stays at 0%. also, i dont know if this is related but my airport turns off whenever i close my computer and it used to stay on and reconnect after i opened it again.

thanks this sounds weird and i know many dont use mac so this is a tricky one i guess, dont forget, little computer knowledge
