Broseybrose
somehow my router's ip address got changed to 192.168.1.103. i used my comp (not utorrent) like this for a while because i didnt realise how easy it is to change my router's ip back to the default. plus everything worked... except, as i discovered tonight, utorrent.so, i just now went to my router's config page and figured out how to change it back to 192.168.1.1. utorrent says the port is forwarded properly, yet there is no green checkmark and i cannot get anything to work in utorrent. internet works though.also, when i run ipconfig/all on my machine it shows that my ipv4 address is 192.168.1.100 (preferred). i have never used a static ip.uttorrent was working perfectly before. and my firewall settings are the same as before (allowing utorrent as an exception) so it is not a firewall issue.any suggestions on why utorrent would tell me the port is open and configured properly, yet i cannot get any activity on my machine?edit- nevermind, ive no idea how i fixed it, but its fixed. moogly
Go to router setup manager (192.168.1.1) and modify the port forwarding rules with your current local IPv4 (so 192.168.1.100).
