StarManta
Torrents downloaded from a particular private tracker will not start - it doesn't seem to ever connect to any peers. Does anyone have any advice on how I might fix and/or troubleshoot this?(Nearly all of my torrents are from this site, so uTorrent would be a little useless to me if I can't resolve this.) jewelisheaven
If you're using uT/Mac you posted in the wrong forum. But... the link you use, does it resolve to a torrent file? Or is the problem you're having that you can't use the specific site?To resolve this, try a torrent from http://slackware.com/torrents/ . . if you can't get connected to the tracker/peers on THAT ONE, you have a larger problem with your ISP, for which the sticky may help.. you'll find it in my signature as Read Me :/Hope this helps. StarManta
I download a torrent file and add the torrent file to the tracker. I've tried torrents from other trackers and of the ones I've tried only TVTorrents has failed to connect to any peers/seeds. (TVT is also the only private tracker I've tried.) For reference, my friend uses TVT torrents with the PC version of uTorrent.Sorry about the wrong forum. Didn't notice there was a separate board for Mac. jewelisheaven
So when you downloaded a torrent from the slackware site, did it start downloading?
StarManta
I just tried the Slackware 12.2 disc 1, and so far it has not yet connected to any peers/seeds or started downloading.
