bungfu
When I open a new torrent and the notification box pops up telling me what files I'm downloading utorrent fails to display any fienames or checkboxes that would normally allow me to choose which files I wish to download. all it displays is a list of file sizes (regardless of the torrent). If I decide to go ahead download the torrent the name of the torrent doesn't show up in downloads just the progress and speed etc. The only way I can see the file name is to view it as a download bar.I can still manage to download files but it's kind of a major annoyance and in some cases an inconvenience.Yes I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and I've tried updating (currently running 1.8.2). Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
jewelisheaven
What Language are you using? What about Windows? Do you have the language selector in Ctrl-P Preferences changed from System Default?
bungfu
I'm using english and no I've never changed it from system default but I made sure and checked just in case. utorrent used to run just fine and then it started doing this. I dunno if it's some sort of damage from a virus or something, like maybe corrupted some registry entry? I don't know if that's even possible but I can't understand why it would work and then just not. even after a fresh install.
