drumttocs8
Hey guys how's it going? I just moved into a new place, and was naturally checking my torrent download seeds to see what I'm getting. That's when I noticed a very strange trend, as illustrated in the picture. The vertical grid lines represent 1 minute... so as you can see, every minute, exactly on the minute, the download speed spikes and comes back down, all within one minute. Then it repeats the process. I have never seen something so exact; obviously something is causing this.My new place's internet is based on local PPPoE fiber, with wireless from a D-Link DIR-615, which is how I get my internet. So do you think they are (strangely) shaping my traffic, or that the router is sending info weird? It has all the latest firmware, etc by the way. Thanks for the help! jewelisheaven
What's your upload limit? What are your connection settings? Nice graph, next time you won't need to use a camera if you use Alt-Print Screen, and paste it to mspaint or the equivalent, and upload to some place like http://imageshack.us

drumttocs8
Thanks for the response, sorry for the delay on updating.I've been testing downloading in other locations, and have not experienced this happening again. So, I suppose it's my router.
Switeck
Latest v1.8.3 and v1.9 releases of uTorrent may fix the ocean waves like results...but the uploader needs to have the fix as well!
