seppuku
Hi, every time I try to download a torrent I get an error message saying "Access is Denied". I have read the FAQ covering this error and also searched the forum for possible fixes but have not been able to fix the problem.I have tried disabling all unnecessary processes but still cannot get it to work. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing it?Thanks,Steve.----------------------------------------------------------------------------Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2Scan saved at 19:05:50, on 29/04/2009Platform: Windows XP SP3 (WinNT 5.01.2600)MSIE: Internet Explorer v8.00 (8.00.6001.18372)Boot mode: NormalRunning processes:C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\cmdagent.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\slserv.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXEC:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\cfp.exeC:\Program Files\BroadJump\Client Foundation\CFD.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\LVCOMSX.EXEC:\Program Files\Logitech\iTouch\iTouch.exeC:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\E_S4I0F2.EXEC:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exeC:\Program Files\Auslogics\AusLogics BoostSpeed\boostspeed.exeC:\Program Files\Spybot - DreadWingKnight
Where are you saving your files to?Have you verified the security settings on the folders?
seppuku
The files are saved to a separate hard drive that I use just for documents and media.I also tried setting the files to save directly onto the desktop but the same error occurs. dizzy1
if the error is related to the .torrent files then you need to take full control of the files and try to recheck the download. it worked for me at least.
