Allowing other programs to change speed limit or turn on/off scheduler

Hey!

I made a simple program which checks every 2 minutes if another computer in LAN is online. If someone else turns on another computer I get alarm which tells me, that I need to change speed limit in uTorrnet. I usualy just turn on scheduler, which is set to same limit 24/7.

Can you please add some command into uTorrent, so I can activate scheduler or set speed limit using my program?

I see few options for doing this:

- using command line (for example: uTorrent.exe /scheduler [on/off], uTorrent.exe /up-limit [number] /down-limit [number]

- using Windows Registry: uTorrent should periodicly check some Windows Registry Key. In this case it would be nice if uTorrent would write into Win Registry to tell other programs that scheduller is on or off and what are current speed limits.

Thank you for your time!

Bye!

Use the WebUI API to cleanly communicate with µTorrent?

And no, relying on the Registry won't be happening. Adding commandline parameters has been requested tons of times before, and likely won't be happening any time too soon -- it's low on the list of priorities.
