Nefarious
Before I was on Windows Server 2008 x64 where using "Open containing folder" would open a new explorer.exe 32bit, wasnt much of an issue since closing the window would close the process as well. However in Windows Server 2008 R2 RC it instead opens a new explorer.exe seems like 64bit but in here it doesnt close the process when you close the window and at some point i ended up with 10 extra explorer.exe processes even thou i had no windows opened. Not sure but this might work the same in Windows 7 RC maybe?
Tommy
Confirmed.I'm running Windows 7 RC (build 7100) x86 and using the "Open containing folder" option does open a new explorer.exe process. The process does seem to close by itself some time (a couple of minutes) after closing the window though.
