elektrcluv Posted January 30, 2006 Report Share Posted January 30, 2006 hi, i just have a couple questions. i searched some of the help topics but didn't find what i was looking for.1. what does seeding do exactly and must it be completed before i can veiw or listen to something i downloaded.>i recently downloaded something i wanted to watch.. it is 100% downloaded but i can not play any of the files. there is no check mark next to the file name indicating it is finsihed instead there is a up arrow. what does this mean?>none of the programs i have can read the files downloaded..omg is crated by sony i take it this is a sound file as sonysonic can read it with each file is another file with the same name but different format .ssa i can not find what program will read this file.>i force started seeding it is downloading between .01 and .02kbs but nothing is going up under the seed status which reads 0(16) seeds.someone please advise thank you very much. elektrcluv Posted January 30, 2006 Author Report Share Posted January 30, 2006 ah, your feeling is correct my friend.. i mixed the letters. the file is ogm and the other is ssa. that must mean the origional sound is in chinese. dang it. i got media player classic which plays the video but there is no sound. DreadWingKnight Posted January 30, 2006 Report Share Posted January 30, 2006 Just because the language is chinese (or more likely japanese), it doesn't mean that it's the file.You may simply lack the audio filters required to play the audio streams.
