EphMan
OS = Windows Vista Home Premium w/ SP1A/V = Avira AntiVir v8.2.0.348uTorrent ver = 1.8.2 bld 14458Over the last 3-4 days when uTorrent is running I will get this random crash and the laptop BSODs and reboots itself. The error message says the following:----------------------------------------------------BUGCODE_USB_DRIVERSTOP: 0x000000fe 0x00000004 0x862d9430 0x8644e8b8 0x00000000I have not added any new software or hardware to this laptop. I do not know what is going on. The bsod only occurs when uTorrent is running. I google'd the error message but the only sites I see talking about it discuss external hard drives causing the problem. I have no ext. drives connected whatsoever.

EphMan
I have ZERO usb devices connected which makes this even stranger. I don't know...I even tried reinstalling the Intel chipset for my laptop via HP's website. Still crashes.
jewelisheaven
No externals, no USB, and you're not using WLAN are you? If you check the Intel site for your chipset is it the same version of the driver HP gave you?

Firon
Some "internal" devices on laptops are really just USB. Card readers often are. Sometimes bluetooth too.
