jewelisheaven
http://utorrent.com/faq/errors/#faq9You should check to see if you're running any of that software or get HiJackThis, run a full scan, and post the log here for someone else to look at. DreadWingKnight
Also, verify the security settings on the folder you're downloading to.
DaGooze
I am also having the same problem and have tried everything in the Troubleshooting guide with no success. I would also like to point out that I've been using Utorrent for 6 months without any problems, until yesterday when this issue started occurring. DreadWingKnight
Have you checked the security properties on the folder? Also, roxio can and does cause "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process" errors. DaGooze
I changed all of the security settings, unchecked read only, and unchecked the indexing.Well, I found a work around... If I save the torrent to my CPU then open that file with Utorrent it works. However just opening directly with Utorrent results in the error. Strange.
