Nikster
i used to have bittorrent but then it just stopped working all of a sudden so i downloaded again but it doesn't even have a shortcut icon. It just says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item" when I try to use it. It did the same with utorrent. Help?thanks
jewelisheaven
Have your drive letters changed? If you right click > Properties on the shortcut and click on "Find Target" does it open where it should, under Program Files?

jewelisheaven
Yeah, it looks like your file was corrupted on download? Or ... has improper rights? The bittorrent.exe is supposed to have the same icon as the uninstaller.exe is what I got. Unfortunately I had to install the bundle from 11/14/08 because the new one from 04/09/09 crashed on me I'd say double check your permissions... right click, properties on the EXE, go to sharing/permissions. Try to "Take Ownership" of all.
