animal bones Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 being new to this i am trying to be fair and uploadng what i have downloaded i have the max torrents for my upspeed which was about 0.5Meg so i took the 384k option which left me with 3 and 2 in max total and downloads respectively so i have5 ready to download with 3 in the que and 7 seeding does it make a difference or should i only have the minimum on my list?(seeding) as i noticed that about 4 were uploading at the same time, thanks for any advice.
jewelisheaven Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 If you want to be fair, you should be looking at your ratio. That is, the ratio of data uploaded to downloaded. This can be seen in the General tab, or also there's a column in the main listview. The number of torrents in the queue/seeding is an important number but only as far as how much your line can handle.
Switeck Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 If your upload is considerably faster than 384 kilobits/sec but lower than 512 kilobits/second, you could try the 448 kilobit/sec upload settings from my chart (2nd link in my signature.)
animal bones Posted May 10, 2009 Author Report Posted May 10, 2009 cheers guys but how do i access the setting 448 into my settings?
