Can't access websites when utorrent is running

I've been running utorrent flawlessy on osx leopard since it was released. Now I just upgraded to the latest version and since that I can't access any websites while utorrent is running.

Also the blue downloading arrows turn red. I've had a read dot (connection problem) before, but it never restrained my downloads.

I just checked this thread, but nothing helped and since I'm on osx, the situation might be different.
