Seyss Posted May 10, 2009 Report Share Posted May 10, 2009 In uTorrent, Options -> Preferences -> BitTorrent.Set Protocol Encryption to "Enabled" and enable "Allow incoming legacy connections" to connect to the widest range of peers!!Make this a default setting after installing uTorrent.. a lot of people got encryption disabled, limiting the numbers of peers to connect to.Thank you. Added to the fact not everyone or every ISP utilizes DPI or traffic shaping measures which means it works OK on-install, and people who want to make it go faster will hopefully at least read up a little on what is happening and how they can help themselves get faster speeds.
