ive been using uTorrent for a long time, but i seem to lacking all the seeders, since i see a big number of seeders from the website i download from, but i don't get all of them when downloading form uTorrent. Perhaps all those seeders are in the (....)?

here is what it looks like, its under the peers and seeers column

What does it mean and is it possible to get all the seeders? thanks in advance

If I may, STOP using force-start. The queue is there for a reason. I don't know how you've been able to run uT for so long with such poor connectivity and with such a divisive bandwidth strategy. You may want to try setting up your connection again http://utorrent.com/documentation/connection-setup

Next, there is a pretty comprehensive manual available in the uT GUI. Press F1 :)

Finally your question; basically that means how many there are reported to be. You're getting < 5% connectivity. Are you firewalled, i.e. http://utorrent.com/faq/network/#faq5

glad you brought it up, i don't know a thing about internet navigation as far as protcols and ITTP or w/e like that heh. but i followed the speed guide and i THINK i put it in right. whats weird is that i have DSL and, after doing the math (b\c it says the number you want is kB, not kb), which is dividing by 8 and multiplying it by .7, it gives me the Dial-Up selection... weird. my average upload speed by tests was 345, after doing the math i got 30. still, i selected the 56k. (yes i made sure no other internet sources were running). I also enabled the encryption, something to do for the ISP. I added the program to my firewall list (For trend micro), or at least i think i did. but i disabled the firewall to really put it to the test, still no improvements.

This is what i got after all the tweaking, maybe like an hour later.

;) Does it make any more sense now after reading?

As far as the testing, hmm, that torrent appears to be doing better, but you certainly may need to rethink your downloading habits if you only get xx/384 max. For every Mbit your ISP says you get down, you should be getting ~ 100 KiBps in uT on either of the test torrents. Stick http://slackware.com/torrents/ in for a couple minutes (you don't need to download the whole thing) on add you'll want to move to top of queue or force start it so it supercedes your existing queue.

Yeah, it looks like you're on an impacted line. So, how about this, run a couple more speedtests, paying attention to the upload amount, then head over to Switeck's alternate numbers http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=34259 and replace the default numbers with those in your Connection configuration.

heeh I bet you liked seeing those fast speeds :D Unfortunately as you see it's because that torrent is seeded by MANY fast peers.

If you want to poke at things more, you could try going back to where you enabled Encryption, change to FORCED, and dis-allow legacy connections... see if that helps. For other things though you'll likely have to mention or look for your ISP on this or other filesharing based forums to see what others have come up with to battle the persistent speed goal.
