ender1
I've been running utor for 3 years and never had any problems. I started running the windows 7 beta with utorrent and never had any issues. If anything it was running better and faster. Now I'm running the windows 7 rc test and and all the portforwarding won't work. It says i forwarded right and it is working, but when I download something it says Error: access denied, or Error: download state is incorrect. I'm not great with portforwarding. Any help? DreadWingKnight
Access denied in the uTorrent window has to do with security settings on the download folders/files.The download state is incorrect error is probably related.

jewelisheaven
Hopefully you're storing everything in one folder... in which case you open properties on the parent folder (ie "Downloads") check and uncheck read only, then check Permissions, and take ownership. Apply then OK, and it should take care of things. You didn't move/delete any of those files from Explorer without telling uT first did you?
