riotgrrl05 Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 So I had to re-install my utorrent but I can't figure out how to add my torrent files to seed again. I have all the torrent files on my computer and want to use those but going through "add torrent" doesn't work--the program thinks I am trying to download and not seed. I really don't want to have to re-create all the torrents cause I have a lot of them.....Help?
DreadWingKnight Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Did you try following the migration guide?
riotgrrl05 Posted May 13, 2009 Author Report Posted May 13, 2009 I did use the guide, but for some strange reason the files come up as "downloading" and not "seeding"...
DreadWingKnight Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Did you point uTorrent at the files properly?
hermanm Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 If you go into Options, Preferences you can select where completed downloads go to. If all your files & folders are in a specific folder, you can check the box and point to that directory. You'll have to remove the torrents from µTorrent list, then add them again. Assuming your torrent files have the same file name and folder names, µTorrent should start a Force Recheck and complete to 100%. Then µTorrent will either queue or seed that torrent.
