tiwas
Hi,I'm running a Windows server 2008 as a seed box, and am having some problems with it...:SWhen I shut down uTorrent, or have to restart, my settings aren't saved. This results in me having to delete the torrents I've deleted previously, rename torrents if I need to, and also tell uTorrent where I've moved the files I'm seeding. All in all a major pain in the...lower parts of my neck Anyone know what this might be? I'm getting pretty fed up of having to do manual labor for 15 minutes each and every time I restart the app...Cheers!
jewelisheaven
You running it as a service? You running it self-contained? You have permissions for the %APPDATA%\uTorrent folder? What about Ctrl-P > Advanced > bt.graceful_shutdown? Are you running security software which may be holding open resume.dat ?? hermanm
Tiwas - run your µTorrent as a portable where everything is saved in the same directory that utorrent.exe is running from. Check your security permissions settings and make sure you have access to it.
