tunio
Sometimes when I want to download a video, I find two torrents corresponding to the same file. The two videos correspond to the same file (identical hash), but the resulting torrent files are different because one uses 512kB pieces and the other one uses 1MB pieces. What I usually do is that I start both torrents but set their download location to the same file. Every once in a while I stop the torrents, Force Re-Check and start them again. This speeds things up A LOT and essentially helps bridge together seeders from two different torrents!Could you make it so uTorrent does this automatically (i.e. without me having to stop and re-check)? DreadWingKnight
Considering the protocol has no concept of files at that level, no.And although the individual file's hash may be identical, that's not what uTorrent bases identical torrents on. kenolak
sounds like a nice feature, but also sounds like it would require alot of work for this not to cause more problems than its intended to solve
