jitin_s Posted May 16, 2009 Report Share Posted May 16, 2009 Hey guys, one of the main problems while using torrents on less than 512 connections is that maximum number of outgoing/incoming connections you can make is pretty low, like 5-10. Now i am not concerned about uploading connections, but the downloading connections I make with other PCs, if they can not provide good bandwidth, they are actually clogging my network.Is there a way or plugin to autometically disconnect peers who are providing me low download bandwidth so that utorrent can try some other downloading connections which may provide me better downloading speed? DreadWingKnight Posted May 16, 2009 Report Share Posted May 16, 2009 Such micromanagement doesn't actually improve speeds and actually causes problems.If you can't get a high number of connections either the hardware you use can't support the connections or the swarms are too small.Follow the connection setup guide for PROPER settings.
