zunny
Hey everyone, I recently setup my static ip and my router to forward the necessary port that utorrent requires to seed, but I'm still getting the yellow triangle in the bottom and I'm totally lost as to why. I'm running the windows firewall but by default it allows utorrent, so I'm unsure of what else I can try. I followed the port forwarding guide on portforward.com to a tee....but to no avail.Would really appreciate any help as to what I can try to get this working.Thank you! Switeck
That ADSL or Cable?ADSL modems often have firewalls and even mini-routers built into them.

Switeck
www.portforward.com ROUTERS section also lists ADSL modems with firewalls/mini-routers, and how to configure them.
hermanm
If you reply with the brand and model of your modem, that would help diagnose. Also, you sometimes need to power cycle your computer and/or router to get the port to forward correctly. I notice this issue on cheap hardware.
zunny
The modem is a linksys spa-2120, and the router is a dlink wbr 2310. How do I access the setup page for the modem? If I enter my ip address it takes me straight to the dlink site. Do I have to plug in directly to the modem? Thanks again guys.
hermanm
Looks like your spa-2120 is a voip router: http://bit.ly/cTN5J . Its not clear you even your dlink (unless you're using wireless). Yes, you would connect directly to your modem if you wanted to configure it. Your manual might say.
