joemaverick
Does anyone know if it is possible to pull the completed files out of an incomplete torrent? Like say a torrent has 30 different files in it, and 2 or 3 are completed. can i move those to another folder without corrupting the torrent and allowing the rest of the files to continue downloading and uploading? Ultima
The pieces that those files share with other files will need to be redownloaded if you move the files out. See this post regarding edge pieces.
moogly
You can relocate each file within a torrent and continue to seed it. Stop the torrent job, go to Files tab, right click > relocate.Another solution: Stop the torrent job.Skip complete files you want to use (see Files tabes)Move them where you want to use it.Force a recheck.uT will resume the torrent and skip the files you have already downloaded. Ultima
Er, yeah, forgot about the file retargeting.Regarding that second solution, it'll fall into the trap I labeled above anyway. The edge pieces will still need to be redownloaded.
joemaverick
First, thanks for the quick response. Second, I'm surprised that I got 2 great answers on a forum. Almost every other forums I've been to regarding other questions are usually filled with noobish or just plain dumb people, therefor taking about 20 answers before I get a good answer; but you guys are right on the ball! Its highly appreciated!
