Freeze on loading or garbage data displayed?

There are several things to try.

* First try pressing CTRL+F5 in your browser. This will either revive the WebUI, or you will see a blank (white) screen. If you only see a blank (white) screen then close and reopen the browser then load WebUI again.

* If that doesn't work then use the following URL http://YourIP:UTport/gui/?action=setsetting&s=webui.cookie&v={} and then reload the WebUI using the normal URL.

* If garbage data is displayed, make sure that your WebUI.zip is the correct size. You may want to try redownloading it and ensure the download was completed successfully.

* If nothing works, then please come to http://forum.utorrent.com/ or irc://irc.utorrent.com/utorrent-webui to ask for help.

I tried all of them and still not working

wuuhuuuuuuuuuu i did it finally :D if someone need here is all details

1. Download the file from here. (direct link) http://sites.google.com/site/ultimasites/files/utorrent-webui.2010020718333315.zip?attredirects=0

2. Rename the file to webui.zip

3. Copy the file to the uTorrent AppData directory. On Windows, it's probably at C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Application Data\utorrent. Another way to find this directory is to go to Start->Run and type: "%AppData%/utorrent".

4. Restart uTorrent.

and after all im getting this error: Unable to load torrent: Invalid torrent file .. there's no solution yet for wine users..:(

hi

i use utorrent on a remote computer(portable(without installing)).

when i add and start and up and down torrents everything works fine.i can delete torrent and they download fine.but i have some problems.

1.when the hard drive of that remote computer gets full i just get error for the torrent downloading ,what i mean is that it doesn't say harddisk full (like local utorrent) but just says error.

2.when i right click and select remove and delete data but when i look at utorrent forlder i see all the torrent i added( torrent files not data files) which means that torrent files dont get deleted.is it normal? so remove a torrent just removes it from queue and not the actual torrent file from utorrent folder?

maybe it has to do with utorrent being run as system account?

I'm using WebUI on a computer that sits behind a firewall. Now I decided that opening a port is not desirable, and I've got a server running Apache (2.2) to reverse-proxy to webui. Is working nicely, but the way webui works, forces me to run the webui on an external url dat starts with /gui/.

So in Apache, I'm proxying this:

http://my.server.com/utorrent/

to this:

http://192.168.10.14:8080/gui/

But I'm seeing requests being fired to http://my.server.com/gui/token.html, among others. So those requests are not properly relative.

Can we fix this?

I found a bug in either Firefox or WebUI (most likely Firefox). I thought I'd post it here because it would be very hard to create any sort of test case for the Firefox developers to use.

My system:

Win7 x64

Utorrent 2.0.2

utorrent-webui.2010041613193401

Firefox 3.6.3

Problem description:

Overall I am very impressed with the WebUI but I discovered a small UI glitch when using Firefox 3.6.3. The problem is that the side scroll bar does not function correctly. I am able to grab it with the mouse and drag it up and down however I am not able to simply click somewhere on the scroll bar and have it jump to that position.

I have tested it on 2 different PC's and with Firefox in safe mode, I get the same result. Something worth noting is that it works fine in IE 8 and the latest nightly build of Minefield 3.7.

I just wanted to report it so that someone more knowledgeable than myself could verify it IS a Firefox bug and if possible report the problem in a more technical manner to Mozilla so it can be fixed.

Can anyone plz help? I'm having issues reaching uTorrent externally. So far I have enabled webui and I am able to reach uTorrent using http://localhost:[port]/gui. however, when trying to reach it using my ip over the internet, I have been unsuccessful. I have also forwarded the port 8080 inside my router. I am running vista 32bit behind a netgear WGR614 v7 router. My computer connection is wireless. Can some please help me get up and running.
