baustin612
Hi all,I get a BSODwhen running utorrent that says IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUALI've narrowed the issue down to RAM, however there are some strange things going on:1) Like I said the ONLY time this happens is when I run utorrent, and it only takes about 5 seconds2) I've used a bunch of different RAM (some 1 gig chips, some 2 gig chips) in difference sequences and noticed that the BSOD only shows when I have both of my 2 gig chips installed equaling 4 gigs of RAM.One alarming thing I found, and this might be normal I really don't know... is that I have about 180 different "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System" entries in my IRQ entries in device Manager. I believe there is some sort of memory access/addressing issue going on here but I don't know how to troubleshoot at this point. By the way I'm using the Windows 7 64-bit, not sure if that could be part of the problem, still is weird that it only reproduces the issue when I have all 4 gigs installed.MOBO: ECS G31T-MVideo: Nvidia Geforce GTX 275CPU: Intel E2655RAM: 4gigs corsairs 1066OS: Windows 7 64-bitAlso here is a memory dump of utorrent when I attempt to run it with 4 gigs installed:ADPlus Version: 6.03.006ADPlus Version Date: 12/16/2008OS Version: 6.1OS Build: 7100DateTimeStamp: Date_05-27-2009__Time_18-00-56PMADPlus was run on: BEN-HOMEDebuggers Installation Directory: C:\Program Files\Debugging Tools for Windows (x64)Command line arguments used were: -crash -pn utorrent.exe -quiet -o c:\adplus Script engine Version: 5.8.0 WARNING! To resolve this warning, please copy the appropriate symbols to a directory on the server and then create an environment variable with a name of '_NT_SYMBOL_PATH' and a value containing the path to the proper symbols (i.e. c:\winnt\symbols) before running ADPlus in quick or crash modes again. NOTE: After creating the '_NT_SYMBOL_PATH' system environment variable you will need to close the current command shell and open a new one before running ADPlus again.Selected debugger: cdb.exeOutput Directory: c:\adplus\Crash_Mode__Date_05-27-2009__Time_18-00-56PMADPlus was run with the '-quiet' switch.g_Debug_Log = Trueg_CheckFreeSpace = True ------ Current Actions for Exceptions ---- AccessViolation [av] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog InvalidHandle [ch] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog IllegalInstruction [ii] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog IntegerDivide [dz] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog FloatingDivide [c000008e] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog IntegerOverflow [iov] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog InvalidLockSequence [lsq] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog StackOverflow [sov] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog CPlusPlusEH [eh] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog UnknownException [*] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog NET_CLR [clr] return: GN GN 1st chance: VOID 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog CONTRL_C_OR_Debug_Break [bpe] return: Q GN 1st chance: Log;Time;EventLog;Stacks;LoadedModules;MatchingSymbols;MiniDump 2nd chance: Wake_Debugger [wkd] return: Q GN 1st chance: Log;Time;EventLog;Stacks;LoadedModules;MatchingSymbols;MiniDump 2nd chance: DLL_Load [ld] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log 2nd chance: Log DLL_UnLoad [ud] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log 2nd chance: Log Process_Shut_Down [epr] return: VOID VOID 1st chance: Log;Time;EventLog;Stacks;FullDump 2nd chance: Application_hang [aph] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog Ctl_C_Console_app [cce] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog Data_misaligned [dm] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog Guard_page_violation [gp] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog In_page_IO_error [ip] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog Invalid_system_call [isc] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog Stack_buffer_overflow [sbo] return: GN GN 1st chance: Log;Time;Stack;MiniDump 2nd chance: Log;Time;Stack;FullDump;EventLog*** ERROR *** *** ERROR *** *** ERROR *** The following requested processes are not executing:UTORRENT.EXE;

mikk36
I have a similar problem here. When downloading a huge torrent today (11GB), uTorrent seems to crash the system randomly from around 30 seconds to 10 minutes, either crashes to BSOD with IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, some other error or just hangs the system.Opsys is Windows 7 x64 with 8GB of RAM.Similar problem hasn't risen before, have had just some random hangs before (might also be related to uTorrent since i have it running 24/7 in the background, possibly will stop that for now. mikk36
Nope, Atheros L1 GigabitMotherboard is Asus P5KAfter removing the 3 memory sticks and leaving just one 2GB unit in the BSODs have stopped.Edit:I solved my problems with adding another network card to the computer and disabling the integrated one, it still gave me BSODs even with just 2GB memory.
