tammyjames
Created torrents, seeded for several weeks. I still have all the files in the torrents in same location on computer, no changes. I am now attemping to seed files again, so i can keep a good u/d ratio, utorrent is not finding the file no matter what I try!!! I am so confused, I have never had this problem. Am I doing something wrong?
jewelisheaven
You are if the General tab > Save As field doesn't match where your files are kept. Did you keep the torrents in uT or re-add them when you wanted to reseed?
tammyjames
no changes in save locations. I re-added torrents to re-seed. I have tried opening torrent from saved .torrent on my pc and the one from the tracker. no luck. Made copy of files included in the torrent, directed uT the new file location upon opening .torrent file, still at 0%. I know the files are complete for sure. This is not just the one torrent either, all 3 I ul recentley are doing same. Also accidently removed a large torrent of a tv series from uT. Went to restart, using .torrent saved when originally started. The torrent restarted at 0%. I had dl'd near 28 gig's of 32. Folder had all files still there. some complete some not (thumbnails available for complete). Force recheck does nothing. arrgh.
jewelisheaven
So you downloaded 28 Gigs of data, executables? or media? I'm assuming you know the files are good because they play?So you re-added the torrents and set the location to the parent of the \folder not \folder correct? In the past this would exhibit as \folder\folder in the Save As location. If right click, force recheck doesn't show you % complete, you're doing something wrong :/
tammyjames
If I load .torrent, stop it, right click, goto advance, change download location (to same folder lol), force recheck, then I get 100% again.p.s. Oh so I was attempting to save the folder\files located in the .torrent i am reloading within the original folder\files i created, is that what i was doing wrong?
