someone1
Hey all,I'm trying out the new version of Windows 7, 64 bit, build 7137Utorrent loads and works fine except for UPNP. When i look at the logger, i don't even see any attempts to map ports. Maybe I disabled one too many services or something. Can anybody let me know how I can fix this? DreadWingKnight
Did you enable both types of logging for UPnP?
someone1
How do i go about doing that?
DreadWingKnight
right-click in the logger tab, enable UPnP under error and verbose.

DreadWingKnight
Looks like you have multiple routers on the network. Have you checked them both?
someone1
Hey,I have 2 routers but only 1 is connected to my cable modem. the other is a wireless bridge between my downstairs and upstairs (cheaper to buy a new router than a Xbox360 wireless adapter...)Anyway, i disabled UPNP on the downstairs one so now it only shows this:[2009-06-03 23:39:51] Loaded ipfilter.dat (248173 entries)[2009-06-03 23:39:51] IPv6 is installed[2009-06-03 23:39:52] UPnP: Discovered host: http://192.168.1.1:5431/dyndev/uuid:0022-154b-459c00509404[2009-06-03 23:39:52] UPnP: Discovered new device: "urn:schemas-upnp-org:device:WANConnectionDevice:1" http://192.168.1.1:5431/uuid:0022-154b-459c02b89404/WANIPConnection:1[2009-06-03 23:40:00] UPnP: Mapped TCP port 53362 -> 192.168.1.101:53362[2009-06-03 23:40:00] UPnP: TCP port 53362 -> 192.168.1.101:53362 mapped successfully.[2009-06-03 23:40:00] UPnP: Mapped UDP port 53362 -> 192.168.1.101:53362[2009-06-03 23:40:00] UPnP: UDP port 53362 -> 192.168.1.101:53362 mapped successfully.[2009-06-03 23:40:00] UPnP: Getting external IP[2009-06-03 23:40:00] UPnP: Got external IP: xx.xxx.xxx.131But looking at my router it doesn't show the UPNP actually have being successfully mapped
DreadWingKnight
Was it the router connected to your cable modem that you disabled UPnP on?What model routers are they?
someone1
Both routers are Asus WL-500W. I disabled UPNP on the router downstairs which is not the one connected to the cable modem.I connect directly to the upstairs one.
