Small files have very fast speeds... large files have very slow speeds

I will start a torrent thats lets say is 700 megs. My average speed will be about 300kb-400kb. But if i download a larger file like a 6 gig file my average speed is around 50kb. i have a 6 megabit connection through sbc yahoo

As torrents go beyond 1 GB in size, average download speeds fall to only about upload speeds.

...And you probably have about 40-100 KB/sec upload speed.

If your uTorrent settings aren't optimized for what you're doing, download speeds on poorly-seeded torrents are likely to be even worse!
