major_works Posted June 5, 2009 Report Share Posted June 5, 2009 I'm pretty new at the torrent business so I hope someone can help me.I'd been downloading torrents and having BT Mainline save them to my default downloads folder. Now I want to relocate all of that data to an external hard drive. What is the correct way to tell BT where to find them when I'm seeding the torrents? moogly Posted June 5, 2009 Report Share Posted June 5, 2009 That's the board of uTorrent.Just relocate each torrent job: right click on it > Advanced > Set Download locationOr use freeware BEncode Editor (see the sticky on General subforum) and edit file resume.dat in folder %appdata%\utorrent with function 'find/replace' to change the path of all your torrents.
