Airport Disk - Download location - Can't see files being downloaded

Hi - I have a download in progress - everything looks good in utorrent. It shows downloading and when i right click on it and select 'show in finder', i can see the files. However, when i go to the drive which i have shared/mounted in finder (it is a disk connected to my airport extreme base station), i don't see the files. What's the story? Does utorrent just hide them until it's complete? Or, when it's finished will I need to do right click 'show' and then copy from that window (wherever that is!!!) to say my desktop? To me, it seems like the mounted disk and the 'show in finder' are the same location.
