Switeck
Why would a modem connect through an ADT router?Do you have an ADSL modem or Coaxial Cable modem?...or something stranger still?
travisonfire
its connected through so that my landlord can get connection to to cameras on her computer
Switeck
Then it's likely not a modem you're talking about. Do you have an ADSL modem or Coaxial Cable modem?Or straight wired Ethernet?
travisonfire
It goes like this my comcast modem runs into the adt router then from the adt router my ethernet cable runs into the computer and now the ports are blocked
Switeck
Either you configure the router so uTorrent gets port forwarded, or you will be forever firewalled while that router is between your computer and modem.
travisonfire
How do I do this, Because the router of course does not have model name it just says fucking adt on it
Switeck
See if you can find an online picture of it to determine the model...or contact ADT about it.You could remove it or put another router (that you can configure) in its place.
